Finding Your Serial
All VW Radio's
To get your VW radio serial you will need to remove your VW radio using radio release keys.
Once you have your release keys, press them into each corner of the unit until the radio pops out.
After this, follow the instructions below to find your serial for entry.
Locating Your VW Serial
Once you have removed the unit, there will be a serial code on the label (as shown in the image).
Enter the serial in the “Enter Radio Serial” box above checking what you entered is 100% correct to avoid order delays.

How to Enter Your Code
Please note: If SAFE is displayed on your radio then hold SCAN & MODE buttons for 10 seconds, the code entry screen should then appear.
VW RCD 300
Turn on your radio, if the word SAFE appears on screen press SCAN & MODE together for 10 seconds until 1000 appears.
You can then proceed to enter your radio code.
Once 1000 is displayed on screen, you can cycle through the digits of the code using the top 2 buttons on each side of the radio.
Once you have entered the correct code, click the ENTER key (bottom right).

Turn on your radio, the cycle through the digits until your code appears correct on screen using the following buttons:
1 – Keep pressing this button until you have the correct first digit of your unlock code.
2 – Keep pressing this button until you have the correct second digit of your unlock code.
3 – Keep pressing this button until you have the correct third digit of your unlock code.
4 – Keep pressing this button until you have the correct fourth digit of your unlock code.
Check that you have entered the correct radio code. Then press and hold the single right arrow key until the radio unlocks.
